Social media is full of emotions and strongly held opinions. Our final-year student Robert chose a topical and widely discussed subject for his graduation project: user behaviour and online reactions to minorities.

His analytical project aimed to map what actually happens online. Robert set out to determine precisely whether LGBTQ+ posts on social media really do automatically attract a wave of hatred and negative comments, as is often claimed.
