Casino Night at O2 universum: a graduation ball that went all in and won!
This year's Valentine's Day will go down in our school's history for more than roses and chocolate. On 14 February, the modern O2 universum venue became a luxurious Las Vegas casino, hosting a graduation ball we will remember for a long time.
The theme was Casino Night, but this was more than a glittering show: months of hard work by our final-year students lay behind it.
As is customary at our school, organising the ball is a major collaborative project as well as a celebration. Students handled everything themselves, from the original idea and finding sponsors to ticket design and the logistics of such a large venue. They showed they could pull together and take on the responsibility that comes with adulthood.
The ball was about welcoming people as well as saying goodbye. The evening also included the formal induction of first-year students. It was a special moment for our newcomers. Seeing the youngest and oldest students side by side reminded us how strong our school community is.
To finish, our final-year students took to the stage for their midnight surprise.
