PhDr. Martin Brummer, Ph.D.
I graduated from psychology at Charles University, Department of education, where I also completed a postgraduate program. During my studies I worked as a specialist of primary prevention with students at schools (under supervision of Prevalis and Christian pedagogical - psychological counselling centre). For five years I worked as a psychologist in a pedagogical- psychological counselling centre of central Bohemia, where I specialized in diagnosing, counselling and interventions with children with educational problems. I am an external worker at my alma mater, where I publish, teach and lead theses. Also, next to many smaller courses focused on psychology and education, I finished the course of crisis intervention (Lektor4u - 150 hours), and currently finishes the course for psychologists in healthcare (Charles University, Department of philosophy – 270 hours). I am included in the comprehensive training of biosynthetic psychotherapy.
In the field of psychology, I am most interested in psychobiography and evolutionary psychology. I enjoy reading, walking in the nature and dancing salsa and bachata. I love Italy, its culture, people and nature, especially around cities of Padova and Verona, where I was studying and working for a few months and where I return with joy.
